Up-date 1/19/2012

This is a snowplow/removal alert. The 'Privates' plow trucks will be up here sometime after 7pm (Thursday) and the morning hours to plow. INLandscaping/He said they would get it done before the garbage pick-up on Friday morning. Please drive carefully and watch for the kids waiting at the school bus stops AM and on way home PM.

Urgent Notice – Warning Open Garage Doors

Posted on: 2011-02-16
This will be a topic at the Annual HOA meeting but you may want to take precaution now! One of our neighbor reports:

“We actually forgot to close our own garage door, and at 3:30am a sheriffs deputy who had been cruising our neighborhood, knocked on our door to tell us that someone had ransacked one of our cars in the open garage. They stole a GPS system and 50 CDs, etc . (We thought maybe he needed the GPS to cruise through the CDs....). Open garage doors are the prime target for thieves and there are plenty in our neighborhood, as well as others. Locking your cars inside your garage also helps deter thieves. And remember to lock the door leading into the house from the garage! We were very fortunate the person(s) did not come inside.”

Bella Vista is generally a safe neighborhood, but it is prudent to be on guard. If you see a neighbor’s garage door open at an unusual hour give them a call, even if it gets them out of a deep sleep. They will appreciate your concern.

Neighbors watching out for neighbors!
